Gorubathan, a charming town in the Kalimpong Subdivision of the Darjeeling District, offers a serene escape nestled on the east bank of the Neora and Chel Rivers. It is located about 59 km from Siliguri and around 90 km from Kalimpong, with the town also known as Sombare by locals.
