Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok – Leisure Time

Welcome to the heavenly abode of the North-East! Your Sikkim adventure begins here. Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to Gangtok. After checking in at the hotel, take the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the cool mountain vibes. In the evening, explore MG Road, the vibrant heart of Gangtok, known for its bustling cafes, local shops, and scenic views. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and admire the beauty of the town. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Gangtok, ready for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Optional)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an exciting day trip. Your first stop is the serene Tsomgo Lake, located 40 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 3,780 meters. This oval-shaped lake, known for its breathtaking beauty, is home to migratory birds, including the Brahminy duck. Take in the tranquil atmosphere as you explore the lake’s cool waters and surrounding snow-capped mountains. On the way, stop at Kyongnosla for some stunning views of the Himalayan landscape.

Next, continue your journey to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered temple dedicated to a soldier of the Indian Army. After the visit, return to Gangtok for a relaxed overnight stay.

For those seeking an added adventure, you have the option to visit Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border controlled by the Indian Army. This optional excursion takes you 20 km beyond Tsomgo Lake, at an altitude of 14,140 feet. Nathula permits are subject to availability through a lottery system and require documentation. Please note that Nathula is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and additional charges apply for the visit.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung (120 km / approx. 6.5-hour drive)

After a filling breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Lachung, a picturesque village in North Sikkim, known for its stunning landscapes. En route, stop at breathtaking viewpoints like Singhik, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Waterfalls, Bheema Waterfalls, and Twin Falls. The drive will offer endless photo opportunities with the pristine surroundings and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a break for lunch along the way before reaching Lachung in the evening. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in this mountain village.

Day 4: Lachung to Yumthang Valley – Return to Gangtok (140 km / 6-hour drive)

Rise early for a visit to the mesmerizing Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” This valley, filled with vibrant wildflowers, is a haven for nature lovers. In the winter, it is said to be the play area for yetis, and in the summer, the grazing grounds for yaks. As you explore, be sure to stop at the Hot Spring believed to have medicinal properties, making it an even more unique experience.

After this enchanting visit, return to your resort for a delicious lunch before driving back to Gangtok in the afternoon. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Optional: If you’re up for more adventure, consider a trip to Zero Point. This is an additional excursion, subject to army permits and weather conditions, with an extra charge.

Day 5: Gangtok to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (125 km / 5-hour drive)

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your hotel and start your journey back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. The 5-hour scenic drive will give you one last chance to enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes of Sikkim before you head home. As you board your train or flight, take with you cherished memories of your unforgettable holiday in the enchanting land of Sikkim.

The cancellation before 30 days will lead to 50% of the total amount cancellation.
The cancellation after 30 days will lead to 100% of the Total amount cancellation.
Since we are inter-dependent with the Hotels so above cancellation charges might vary with few Hotel’s Cancellation charges.

Lean Season: January, February, June, July, August, and December

The Cancellation before 30 days will lead to Zero cancellation of the total amount.
The cancellation after 30 days but before 15 days will lead to 25% cancellation of the total amount.
The cancellation after 15 days to 7 Days will lead to 50% cancellation of the total amount.
The cancellation 7 Days will lead to 100% cancellation of the total amount.
Since we are inter-dependent with the Hotels so above cancellation charges might vary with few Hotel’s Cancellation charges.

Refund Policy:

In case if eligible for any refund occurring due to cancellation or any other reasons, the same will be processed within 7-14 working/ business days in the mode deemed suitable or appropriate at the discretion of both the parties.

Postponement Policy: –

Postponement of the tour will be allowed once and will be Valid for 6 Months.
If the trip is postponed and not cancelled, there will not be any refund under any circumstances irrespective of any reason/cause after postponement of the trip.
This rescheduling is allowed only once, hence choose your new dates wisely and inform us at least 30 Days in advance from your new dates. Further, reschedules may or may not have some additional charges and that will be communicated in real-time. Execution of the rescheduled trip will depend upon the availability of all the inclusions as per the original itinerary. We advise you to discuss well in advance before making any flight or train booking.
The inclusions as per the original itinerary may or may not remain same, all depends upon the availability at the time of rescheduled dates.
The total package cost may or may not change at the time of rescheduled dates. The increase or decrease in the prices will depend upon the current prices of all the inclusions at the time of new booking.
Any force majeure situation, addition/amendment in the package may or may not attract additional charges, the additional charges shall be borne by the traveler.
Payment Schedule will be at AD Tours & Travels discretion and has the right to forfeit the payment for not receiving payment on time.
Change of Destination is not allowed under any circumstances. Still the final decision will be taken on the basis of situation.

Booking policy:

For booking this package, you need to provide verbal consent on the acceptance of the offered package including all the inclusions and exclusions as mentioned in the quote. Such acceptance will be received on the quote as a whole including each and every minute details as a part of it.
On the receipt of the same, the concerned trip advisor in contact with you will raise the invoice specifying the number of installments, installment amount and their due dates as agreed.
On the receipt of the 1st installment, the booking will stand confirmed untill and unless any changes are made thereafter.
The Visa/Permit, hotel and flight bookings will be thereafter initiated and the vouchers for the respective services will be updated for you within 3-4 working/ business days. Though the cab details will be updated 1-2 days piror before the trip.

Payment Policy:

The payment will be received as per the agreed number of installments, amount and due dates.
On non-receipt of the payment of the 1st installment as scheduled until and unless any prior notice, the booking remains unconfirmed. In such cases, no booking procedures will be initiated at our end.
Special Notice has to be put forth in a proper manner in case of any delays in making the payment of any installment so that a next due date can be planned for you.
